Our Credentials
Charmina Phillips is the mother of Sariel and Zion. She has dedicated over 10 years as a volunteer instructor with Junior Achievement, an organization focused on educating and inspiring young people about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. During her tenure, she conducted lessons on financial literacy in numerous middle schools and high schools, gaining firsthand experience in teaching and engaging with students on financial topics. She had consulting engagements at 3 of the 10 largest banks in the United States.
Charmina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and Management Information Systems from the University of South Carolina. This educational background provides her with a solid foundation in business principles, which are relevant to financial literacy education.
She has obtained a Project Management Certification (PMP), indicating her proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Charmina also holds a CompTIA Security Plus certification, which validates her knowledge and skills in cybersecurity principles and practices. This certification underscores her commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of digital information, which is increasingly important in financial education and information management.
